Tavern Dinners

Enjoy an authentic hearth cooked meal in the 18th century Newcom Tavern. With recipes pulled from 19th century receipt books, guests learn how Daytonians dined in the 1800s. Costumed interpreters bring 19th-century Dayton to life during this unique candlelit dinner.

Join us for a 19th century afternoon tea at the historic Patterson Homestead. Enjoy hot tea, a variety of breads, tea sandwiches and desserts served by interpreters in 19th century costume. Learn about the Patterson family history and take a tour of the Homestead.

Step back in time to witness a historical reenactment of a famous Dayton murder trial from the early twentieth century. Spectators will have the opportunity to become a juror and decide the fate of the accused.
