Home to three generations of Dayton’s prominent Patterson family, the historic 1816 farmhouse of Colonel Robert Patterson continues to engage and inspire guests by providing them with a window into the middle-class lifestyle of the Patterson family during the mid-nineteenth century.
The property includes the home, which is furnished with family artifacts and period appropriate pieces, along with a historic kitchen garden and ample green space around the home. Dayton History invites you to come see what life would have looked like for one of the earliest Dayton families as they aided in steering Dayton from a small frontier village into a major industrial city.
