Heritage Day with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra

Held on Memorial Day weekend, Heritage Day with the Dayton Philharmonic features costumed interpreters, hands-on historical activities, the Carillon Park Concert Band, and concludes with a patriotic performance by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra honoring veterans of the Dayton region and beyond.

All proceeds benefit Dayton History, a privately funded nonprofit organization, in its mission to inspire generations by connecting them with the unique people, places, and events that changed Dayton and the world.

Regular admission fees apply. FREE to Dayton History members.

Event Schedule:

  • Exhibits open until 7 p.m.
  • Carillon Park Concert Band Performance at 6 p.m.
  • Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra performance 7–9 p.m. (with intermission)
  • Event concludes at 9 p.m.
