Patterson Homestead Historic House Museum Rental Facility

The Patterson Homestead Rental Facility
is located at the historic landmark that was originally known as
the Rubicon Farm. This farm was home to the Patterson family for
most of the nineteenth century. The Federal-style farmhouse was
built in 1816 and was updated and enlarged as the family grew and
prospered. In 1953, the Patterson family donated The Homestead to
the City of Dayton. A meeting room was added in 1955 for civic,
cultural and educational groups. Today, this room is available for
all types of business and social gatherings. There is a large parking
lot on the premises with space for 75 cars.
If your need for a rental facility is for a social gathering, The
Homestead is the ideal location. From afternoon tea parties to the
most formal weekend wedding reception, buffet luncheons to sit-down
dinner parties, baby and bridal showers to special theme parties,
our facility can fit your needs with a capacity of up to 110 people.
Our intimate and historic location will provide an atmosphere that
will make your event special. Tables, chairs and a grand piano are
included in the rental fee.
The grounds surrounding The Homestead are lovely and well maintained.
This area includes a gazebo and provides a perfect place to hold
family or company reunions, picnics, outdoor weddings and concerts.
The Patterson Homestead will provide the perfect location for all
of your business events. Audio and visual equipment are included
in the rental fee. The room can be set up in various seating arrangements.
With a service kitchen located near the rental room, there is no
better place to have a breakfast or luncheon meeting or that important
business holiday party.
