Event Lawn and Town Greene

Select areas on the Park Grounds are also available for rent, both within the historical exhibit area (Town Greene) and on the Event Lawn to the east of the Kettering Family Education Center.

The Event Lawn can be rented for larger festivals, such as the popular German Fest Picnic where over 6,000 people enjoyed the festivities on our Event Lawn. Our Event Coordinators will even handle all the additional rented items for your event, such as tents, tables, and chairs, for you – taking much of the work off your hands.

In addition to the large Event Lawn, the Town Greene and the Picnic Grove offers picturesque landscaped spaces available for parties, concerts, weddings ceremonies and receptions, picnics, walks, or reunions. These spaces accommodate both open-air and tented events.
