Carillon Junction
Put your conductor hat on and climb aboard the train for a journey on the 1/8 scale railroad. Continue the exciting experience with a personal tour of the train cars on exhibit at Carillon Park. Enter a train station to receive a stamped ticket and learn what life was like for a train station master. *Train rides are only available during prescheduled dates.*
Aviator Adventure
Come prepared for an adventure into flight. Examine the life of the Wright Brothers and their 1905 Flyer on a personal tour of the Wright Brothers Aviation Center. Play with flying toys and create your own experiments with paper airplanes.
Carousel Magic
Let your imagination soar as you take a carousel ride on the amazing inventions and innovations from Dayton, OH. After an inspirational carousel ride use your hands to create and build using toys in the Juvenile Manufacturing Company playhouse. Climb aboard a locomotive to ring the bell and blow the whistle, sit in a derby car and view an entire store front of Dayton made toys! The fun continues with ice cream from Culp’s Café.
Pioneer Discovery
Explore the Miami Valley from a pioneer’s perspective. Step back in time to prepare food over a fire, churn butter, help with chores and play with toys. Examine the heirloom garden to discover vegetables, flowers and herbs and their uses for both food and medicine. After your hard work, enjoy the food you just prepared over the hearth!
Schoolhouse Exploration
The school bell is ringing and a teacher in period dress is ready to start the lessons for the day. Enter a one-room schoolhouse and discover what school was like one hundred years ago. Try your hand at writing with ink and dip pens, reading McGuffey readers and working with a slate.
